Uppermost LLC (“we,” “us”) operates getuppermost.com (the “Site”). This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. It applies to all visitors and customers of the Site.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide: your name, billing and shipping address, email address, phone number, and order details when you make a purchase, create an account, subscribe to our emails, submit a review, or contact us. Payment card details are handled by Shopify and its payment partners, and we do not receive or store full card numbers.

Information collected automatically: your IP address, browser and device type, time zone, pages and products viewed, search terms, referring site, and how you interact with the Site. We collect this using cookies, pixels, log files, and similar technologies.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Process and ship orders and manage subscriptions
  • Send order confirmations, invoices, and shipping updates
  • Respond to questions and provide customer support
  • Detect fraud and protect the security of our store
  • Understand how the Site is used and improve it
  • Send marketing emails and show you relevant ads (you can opt out at any time)
  • Comply with legal obligations

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share it with service providers who help us operate, including Shopify (our e-commerce platform), payment processors, shipping and fulfillment partners, and Google Analytics.

We also share limited information (such as identifiers and browsing activity) with advertising partners, including Meta and Google, so we can show you targeted ads. Some state laws treat this as “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising. You can opt out as described below.

We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect our rights or the safety of others.

4. Cookies and Targeted Advertising

We and our partners use cookies and similar technologies for essential store functions, analytics, and advertising. You can:

  • Block or delete cookies in your browser settings (some parts of the Site may not work without essential cookies)
  • Opt out of targeted advertising at optout.aboutads.info, google.com/settings/ads, or facebook.com/settings/?tab=ads
  • Use a browser or extension that sends a Global Privacy Control signal, which we treat as a request to opt out of sharing for targeted advertising

5. Do Not Track

We do not currently respond to “Do Not Track” browser signals, as there is no consistent industry standard for them.

6. Children

The Site is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at hi@getuppermost.com and we will delete it.

7. Data Retention

We keep personal information for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes in this policy, including order history, accounting, and legal obligations, and then delete or anonymize it.

8. Your Privacy Rights

If you live in California or another state with a consumer privacy law, you may request to access or receive a copy of your personal information, correct it, delete it, and opt out of sharing for targeted advertising. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

To make a request, email hi@getuppermost.com. We may need to verify your identity, and we will respond within 45 days. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request for you. If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our response. To stop marketing emails, use the unsubscribe link in any email.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy by posting a revised version with a new “Last updated” date.
